       I am excited to be your child's Kindergarten teacher!  We are going to have a fun year of growing, learning, and exploring many new things.  



      This is my 16th year of teaching.  During these years, I have taught kdg, 2nd, 3rd, 5th grades and I was a Literacy Consultant for many of the years.  My first 8 years of teaching I taught a wonderful summer literacy program where I worked with mostly Kindergarten and 1st grade students.



    I have my Bachelor Degree in Elementary Education from Oakland University with a Major in English Literature.  I then went on to receive my Masters in Educational Administration from Saginaw Valley State University.  In addition, I have my Plus 15 in Early Child Literacy from Marygrove College.  



    I am married with two beautiful children.  My daughter Kylee is 10 years old and my son Kaleb is 7 years old.  My husband is also a Physical Education teacher at Plumbrook and Burr Elementary.
